Although I designed this website mainly for my Network Engineer college students, it contains information about several different computing platforms including Macintosh, Windows, Linux, and UNIX as well as older ones such as BASIC.

This is the one question that will separate novice IT people from experienced IT people! The answer is: NONE!
I am fortunate to have a job that allows me to keep my hand in several different operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Macintosh, Windows). As a result, I never feel compelled to put another operating system down in social conversation by saying statements such as “Windows sucks” or “Linux sucks”. When I hear other IT people use phrases that put down certain technologies, it tells me that they do not know much about that particular technology. People are generally afraid of what they do not know.
What I have found is that computing is an evolutionary science; technologies arise, change, and become extinct due to several factors. Each technology has its own benefits that make it more suitable for certain uses. I use Windows Server 2003 to run Active Directory, Exchange and SQL Server 2005, I use Windows XP and Vista to play my games, I use Linux/UNIX to run several server services, and I use Mac OS X as my main client computer when doing my day-to-day tasks such as browsing the web and running programs such as Microsoft Office. And best of all, OSes today interoperate seamlessly.
That being said, I prefer to use the Mac OS X operating system for productivity reasons. And yes, if any OS comes close to sucking, its Vista. Check out the awesome OS parody on YouTube below:
